Steve's parents and grandparents grew up in the Lincoln/Woodstock area. So usually we site see a little around town, to see how much has changed. Though this is not anyone in his familys' house, it is right around the corner from where his Mom grew up. The rainbow house. Yes it does stick out like a sore thumb:
Then we we headed to some of the 'main street' shops. Steve found this very cool 'old man on the mountain' and had to have it. It now hangs outside above our porch:
Behind the stores is the Pemigewasset river It runs all through the towns:
We can not forget the candy store. This little 'hole in the wall' has some of the best homemade goodies:

This sign may look funny, but not so funny if you are cruising down the highway and a moose comes running out of the woods:

WOW Dawn, there's some incredible photos in this collection! Love the different angles you used too!
Looks like it was a fun trip.
Dawn those are some awesome photos! Looks like you had a blast. Glad you're back safely!
Very gorgeous pictures Dawn. Glad you had such an enjoyable trip. You asked about Brandon, he is doing very well considering everything. He manages to take care of the kids, work, clean and cook. I guess you can call him Mr. Mom...literally!!! Thanks so much for asking and being interested in the children's lives. I know Aleida would be pleased.
