Tag...you're it

A while back, my friend Jonnelle asked me if I would like to participate in a "tag swap". A group of her friends were in the process of trying to gather 20 people to participate. I love to play along with things like this. So, of course I said 'yes!' Gets the ole creative juices a flowin'. The theme is Halloween. That was it. Make 20 tags. Decorate with a Halloween theme. They didn't even have to be all the same. Here is what I came up with:

I broke it down into 5 groups of 4...

1.) Black cat:
2.) Happy Halloween:
3.) Fall/Halloween flowers:
4,) Itsy bitsy spider:
5.) Teenie tiny skeleton:
I really enjoyed making these tags and I will be a bit sad to see them go. But the good thing is, they will go to good homes and in exchange, I will recieve back multiple beautiful tags from some very talented ladies. I can not wait to get that 'Happy Mail' package!

Lollipop, Lollipop

Happy Saturday!

The weekend is here. Time for some scrapbooking, cleaning and more scrapbooking.

Here is another quick LO I wanted to share. This one is for Janna's 52 weeks of Stress Free Scrapbooking, The Week 32's challenge is:

Scrap with strips.

I loved this 'white out' paper line that I bought (2 years ago!) while I was in Chicago. This along with a wee bit of Sass paper strips. Little bit of sewing on a page too. I am really into that lately! It all came together with this fun pic of B & his very colorful lolli 'pop'.

Off to do some cleaning, I guess...

The Final 3

I finished the final 3 sketches from KP's class over at Studio Calico! I am so proud of myself. I got a lot of LO's completed with this class AND I used many of my favorite papers from my stash, which is awesome! I also got to scrap some of my favorite end of Summer pics. Like these ones of B jammin' out with his 'Paper Jamz' guitar. Rock on dude!

And this one of B at Summer camp. Good times!

And me the sport loving girl, who still loves to be girly too...sometimes...lol!

Loved these sketches. Loved this class. Loved how ALL the LO's turned out. Already looking for something else. This scrap obsessed gal is on a roll!
Happy Monday!

Aleida

I can't believe that it has been 2 years. There are still times that I want to just pick up the phone and call you, just to chat. I miss you. :-(

Sketchbook 2-Week 3 LO's

I wanted to share a few more LO's that I had completed from Kelly Purkey's online sketch class, I have been taking over at Studio Calico. I actually have had these LO's done for while now, but I have been having some internet/photo editing issues. Hopefully, it has been corrected, at least for now...LOL!

This LO is for Sketch #7. This was a pic of me taken on my B-day weekend, zipping around in my friends little convertible. Good times!

This LO is for sketch #8, which I flipped on it's side. It was perfect for this pic. Love this kid more than life itself.

This is for sketch #9, which I mirrorred to make a two pager ( I have not done this in like...for-evah!) I just had so many pics of Brad Paisley from the New England Country Festival! I still can not believe that I was that close. It was such an amazing concert. Definately the best of times!

Well, this is all for now. I am almost done with the final 3 sketches, which I hope to post soon.
