Lots More 'Sketchy' LO's

I have been having the best time scrapping with some of the most awesome sketches. Starting with this one. This sketch is from the wijDUS challenge site. Love this one by the very talented Peggy Severins , so I had to play along! I also got to use some more of my Scarlet Lime November kit. I LOVE these colors (and I Love my little dude's rockin' mohawk!)

Here is one from the Got Sketch 103 online class. I have not done a '2 pager' in a while. I had so many pics from when my nephews were here. On Valentine's day we went to the New England Patriots football stadium/Pro Shop/Hall of Fame. I really wanted to document my parents (the grandparents) sharing this with their grand(boys)children. I really LOVE how it came out! (Love these Kaiser Kraft-Boy papers! They match perfectly!)

Here is a close-up of Page One:

and here is a close-up of Page Two:

I have had this pic of Bryant for a while now and have always wanted to scrap it. I have been holding onto this sketch from a past 'Got Sketch' class, but changed it up quite a bit. It was a little too 'girly' originally for this pic. (Love these Cosmo Cricket-Happy papers!)

The sketch for this one was an extra for the 'GS 103' class. This last one is of Bryant from this past Halloween as a storm-trooper. Who would of thought that Star Wars would still be so COOL 30+ years later?? (Love these Basic Grey-Ambrosia papers!!

So happy to get so much scrapping done! Yay me!! I need to catch up on my POD. Got a a little behind because I was caught up in reveal night over at Studio Calico last night. So much fun though and can not wait to see all my new goodies IRL. Lots of good stuff going on over there, as always. Well, hope you have a great weekend. Do something fun! Nascar racing from Las Vegas this weekend. Go Tony! Woo Hoo!!

Happy Monday

It's a new week. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I wanted to share a couple more LO's that I worked on this weekend. For the first one I used my Scarlet Lime December kit. I LOVE this picture of my nephews and Bryant. Aren't they cute?!! I took this last weekend when my nephews were visiting. Lucky for me, they like to pose for pics.

This LO is of Bryant's school pic for this year. Though the pic does not really capture his true personality, I wanted to document it all the same. For this LO I used a sketch from the Got Sketch blog. I knew I wanted to use these October Afternoon papers (they match so perfectly) and I wanted it to be a pretty basic LO. I was really happy with the result:

All for now. Short post. I am still fighting a cold. The weaher outside is frightful. Not looking forward to my commute. I have a busy week ahead. I hope to have more to share with you soon. There are always new projects in the works. Happy Monday!

Got Sketch

Haven't been feeling my best over the past few days. Damn cold! So I have gotten a little behind on my LO's for Got Sketch 103. I love taking these classes. For one I get a ton of scrapping done and two I get to rediscover my stash all over again. So without further ado here are my first four LO's, The first one is of Bryant and his cousin just being their cute and corny selves:

The second one is one of our favorite pastimes. Hanging out at the beach. This time it is Plum Island (MA) beach. What a ham!

Last Fall Bryant's Nana bought him a new 'big boy' bike as an early Christmas present. He loved it!

And last but not least, Bryant made me the coolest Valentine's Day card. It opens up as a laptop. Just like Daddy's he said. So creative! Of course I had to document it:

So it is Friday again. I feel like I haven't blogged in forever. I am glad it is the weekend. Maybe I can now get a little rest. I doubt it though. LOL! I am sure I will be working on something. I am always busy. Now I am heading out for a lunch date with my son and see what trouble we can get into. Have a great weeekend!! Check out Got Sketch 103 if you get a chance. I have a link on my sidebar. Lots of creative ladies over there...

TGIF

Yes, I am happy the weekend has arrived. A long one and I have big plans. My sister and nephews will be here for a visit and that is always a good time. I do not see any scrapping in my immediate future, but of course lots of pictures for many future projects. I did want to share a few more projects created with the Fortune Cookie-February Studio Calico kit. I think I may of used it just about up. I really enjoyed this kit and got to complete a lot of projects. Yay ME!!

This LO is of my son and his puppy that he made at "Build a Bear". He really wants a 'real' puppy, but this will have to do for now:

A couple years back, my BFF from high school won tickets to a local radio stations "Back to the 80's" prom. It is an invite only, but it was special that year. We (or at least she) HAD to go. It was on her birthday and Rick Springfield was going to be there. She is and will always be Rick's #1 fan. We had a great time and I think were looking good!!

Last, but not least, I did throw a few cards together. You never know when you may just NEED a card. KWIM???

Well, like I said, I think I about used up the kit. I was a crazy scrappin' woman and I loved it! The weekend is here! Did I mention my sister and nephews were coming?? I will leave you with a LO that I did a while back during one of the Got Sketch classes. It is my nephews and Bryant. Aren't they cute? Now can you see why I am so excited?!! Have a great LONG weekend!! :-)

Fortune Cookie Anyone???

Oh ya...I got the February Studio Calico kit (Fortune Cookie) on Friday and I was quite the happy scrapper this past weekend. Here are some of the LO's that I completed. Starting with this one. I have wanted to scrap these apple picking photos for a while now. They were a perfect fit with the colors of this paper. Yes, I am all about 'matchy, matchy'. I loved how this came out:

This picture was taken on a Nascar weekend this past Summer. Bryant looks so cute in this picture. I knew I wanted to create a more simple LO that really focused on the picture, because this one really is all about the picture. I do have a harder time with simple clean LO's. I usually am all about 'lots of stuff. I think the result was good:

For this LO I really wanted to play around with the very fun, very colorful, Studio Calico papers. Just a few pics of me from over the past year:

What a fun pic of Bryant this is with my 'rockstar' shades. He was definately stylin'! Thought I would messy up the style a little bit with gold paint and I loved the result. "You rock dude!"

Again, I am really having fun with this kit. Lots of color and unique styles. Hoping to get some more scrapping done this week. I still have lots of stuff left. I think maybe I will throw a few cards together too. It is always good to have a few on hand! :-)

**Just a reminder that there are only a few days left on the latest BASB challenge!!!***

Check it out here.

Oh, and look what is being delivered to me tomorrow. The new February kit from Studio Calico. Look at the pretty colors and cool new stamps. I have big plans for this kit. TGIF for sure!

One last thing, there is still one more week to participate in our latest BASB challenge. This is a pretty sweet prize. I just read on Teresa Collins blog, that these kits are no longer available, so this would definately be a cool thing to get:

BASB...Challenge #6

The newest challenge is up at the BASB site. This time it revolves around love, but with a bit of a twist. We all are either married, have a signifcant other or are dating. Forget about them for the time being. This challenge is about fantasy/pretend, a secret or not so secret crush. This is all about fun. It is definately no secret that this gal has a major crush on David Cook. So without further ado, here is my LO:

Okay, so this is not my first LO revolving around David Cook. Remember this one?

So come play along! You can check out the challenge here and see who all the other gals are swooning over. Plus, look at the cool prize you could win:

It is the Teresa Collins 9 x 9 Crush mini album kit. Great fun! Great prize! Come play along. I can not wait to see what you come up with!
