Merry Christmas! Yes you read that right. Christmas. I got together this past weekend with my best friend from highschool, Lisa, to exchange Christmas presents. She lives less than an hour away, yet we hardly ever get to see each other. Funny how life gets in the way and that we are all so busy. Need to change that! Really need to make more time for friends! We had a great time watching the (nascar) race, eating a nice dinner and yes, exchanging gifts. We adore John Cena! So I had to get her this DVD all about him. For those who do not know, John is a WWE wrestler that is from West Newbury, Massachusetts. Lisa knows his parents, but has yet to meet John in person. John Cena is H-O-T hot!!
Speaking of hot...H-O-T hot, I am crazy about Tony Stewart! Maybe a little obsessed! Lisa got me a new Tony coffee cup. How did she know that I needed a new one for work? LOVE this!

I see LOTS of crafting in my future
I created my first LO using a Studio Calico kit. I love being part of the scrapping community there. I used the March kit called "Fly a Kite". Really loving the Making Memories '5th Avenue' line. Okay, so I am trying to scrap more pics of myself. So, when I am older, I can look back and see how good I once looked. LOL!!
This is April's kit. It is called 'Hand-Picked'. It is so colorful! I can not wait to get my hands on it!

This is one of the add-ons. It is called 'Snapdragon'. It is so pretty! Both kits have paper included from a new company called Pink Paislee along with many other goodies!

You Make My Day
I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter holiday with family & friends. My son was very lucky to have the Easter Bunny leave him goodies at home and at Grammy & Grampies. He may be a little spoiled. LOL! Our yearly tradition is to color eggs at the grandparents house. We look forward to it every year. Grammy always buys the coolest new kits. Here are a couple with my silly son Bryant. He is such a ham!
So PRETTY! The colors were AMAZING!
Great job! (If I say so myself!)
I recieved the following award from my friend Aleida . It is the "You Make My Day" award. I have seen many very deserving people recieve this award and I feel very honored to have gotten it myself. So for that, I am thankful. It is an award given to someone special whose blog you enjoy. Someone that inspires you , makes you smile and makes you think. Someone that you may consider a friend. Again, Aleida, I am very honored.
Now my turn to reciprocate and here are the rules:
The rules for the *You Make My Day Award* are to re-present it to 10 people whose blogs bring you happiness and inspiration and make you feel happy about blog land. Let them know through e-mail or by posting a comment on their blog so they can pass it on. beware you may get the award several times yourself, and if you do, consider yourself really, really loved. I feel loved just getting it once. :-)
Here is my list. I actually chose 11 people and I really could have kept going!

Easter Swap + Pay it Forward=Happy Mail Days for ME!!!!
I have to say today was not one of my best days. To top it off, it was rainy, gray and cold. I just can not express how bad it was. All I could think was tomorrow is the first day of Spring! It has to get better! So when I finally got home from work and saw that my Easter swap gift from Mia had arrived, you just do not know how much that it meant to me. I was so happy! I was happy just seeing the box. I did not even know what was inside yet! This is all the goodness that was inside! All I can say is "WOW!!" This picture does not even do it justice! Check it out:
I do not know where to begin. Lots of K & Co goodies, Basic Grey, fun Easter stickers, ribbon, buttons, bling, Scenic Route chipboard, glimmer mist and Swedish candy (I hope I do not have to share the candy!). The paper was wrapped in beautiful kraft wrapping paper (So PRETTY!) Mia this is AMAZING! To think that I was not even going to do this swap at first! I am so glad that I did! Not only do I LOVE all these goodies, but I really had the best time shopping for Mia too! I am so LOVING being a part of the Studio Calico community!
On Saturday, I got this very CUTE package of Stampin' Up goodies from my friend Stacy . I ordered the spiral punch. I have been wanting this for a while, just from seeing the great things that I have seen Nancy create. She is so talented!!! But, look at all the the other little goodies, metal embelishments, ribbon, colorful tags and I LOVE these scallop stamps. I can not wait to try these out!
Thanks ladies for bringing the sunshine!!!!

Won't you take me to...Funky Town??!!
Got to play with one of the newest kits at Paper Jam Studio . It is called, you guessed it, Funky Town :
I wanted to share some of my Design Team projects. This first one is a LO of Bryant being silly. I loved this picture and I love these colors!! One of my favorite things in this kit is the Maya Road "Hello my name is" stamp set. Soooooooo CUTE!
The next is a cute little Spring paperbag/clipboard mini album. Here is the cover:
Here are the next 2 pages. Lots of flowers, a little bit of bling and buttons:
This is pages 3 & 4. Love the flowers and the mini paperclip and red Doodlebug letters:
The last one is a card combining Love Elsie and October Afternoon paper (they match perfectly!) with a little bit of bling thrown in. Who doesn't enjoy flowers and bling? LOL!
I had a great time with this kit. I really enjoy the challenge of mixing different vendors products together and seeing what I come up with, what I can create. Would love to see what other people come up with. As Donna Downey says "You are perfect, just the way you create." I LOVE that!!!!

I've Been Tagged
I have been under the weather for a a few days now and I am still not 100%. Been neglecting my blog. I was recently tagged by my friend Stacy with the following questions:
What were you doing Ten years ago? I was working as a QC tech for the same company that I work for now. Steve and I lived in an apartment in Nashua, NH.
What were you doing one year ago? I now work in Sales Admin. I now have a crazy 7 year old and I am living in Massachusetts.
Name five favorite snacks: icecream, Cool Ranch Doritos, Reeses Peanut Butter cups, chocolate chip cookies. I know, I can't think of 5 right now!
Name five things you would do if you were a millionaire: Quit my job, Pay off all my bills, Pay off all my parents bills, put some $$ away and of course travel the Nascar circuit.
Name five things you like doing... scrapping, reading, listening to tunes, watching tv/movies and hanging with Bryant.
Name five things you would never wear again... neon anything, preppy anything (WOW! I really can not think of 5 things!)
Name your five favorite toys... computer, camera, all scrap tools, cell phone and my car!
I now tag Pam , Aleida , Debbie , Stacey and Kathy .
