More Christmas Crafting

I LOVE Christmas crafting! This is a LO I did last year of my son Bryant with Santa. I was so crazy about this Christmas line by Bo Bunny:
I even made this : Bryant's Christmas '06 (sorry the pictures there are blurry. I was new to uploading then. LOL!) But, have you seen the new "My Word" chipboard books from Bo Bunny? I Love, Love, Love these. Again, I spent very little $$. I only had to buy the book. I had enough of the paper and ribbon left over from last year to complete the whole thing! YAY!!! I just adore this book. Enjoy!! TFL!! :-)

New England Patriots

On Saturday night we took a trip down to Foxboro , MA. For those of you who do not know, this is where the New England Patriots play football. It is the home of Gillette Stadium. The owners of the Patriots are in the process of building a huge shopping complex, museum/Hall of Fame and condos. It is a huge deal! Everyone is so excited. There is basically nothing else going on in this town. Pretty much a ghost town unless some thing Patriots is going on. This will bring a lot to the area. The first store had it's "Grand Opening" this weekend. It was the "Bass Pro Shop". This a huge fishing, hunting, boating, anything outdoors store. These stores were really only in the South, so this is the first one in New England. Our little family took a drive down last night to check it out. We had a pretty good time. My son LOVED it! It is 2 floors and there was a lot to see. I can not wait till the whole project is done. I really can not wait for the museum/Hall of Fame! I am a huge Pats fan! We are 10-0. It is so AMAZING!
Here is a pic of me at work from the last Super Bowl!

Here I am at one of the Victory Parades in Boston!

Did I mention that we are 10-0?!! Undefeated!!! :-) GO PATS!!!!! :-)

A Tribute

Everyone that truly knows me, at least the scrap artist me, knows that I LOVE Junkitz! It is my FAVORITE, FAVORITE, FAVORITE scrapbook company!! I just can not get enough of their stuff. One of my favorite people is Janna Wilson. I first learned of her as a designer for Junkitz. She is AMAZING and crazy talented. So when Janna says that I am one of the people that inspires her, that is so COOL! Here are a few of my favorite projects that I have made with her product designs: Janna "You ROCK" girl!!! :-)

Views that make me Smile...

I saw this idea on Debbie Hill's blog. These are things around my home that make me smile. I LOVE Sunflowers! My whole kitchen has a Sunflower theme. I just love my canisters and bakers rack:
I LOVE my little kitchen curtains (No, I did not make these, but aren't they CUTE?!) Disreguard the dirty window. It is on the outside of the window. Really!

I got this pretty flower from a craft fair years ago:

I LOVE how it looks in my purple bathroom:

My bedroom is my favorite room. I Love the blue sponged walls. I LOVE the dark blue curtain (sheers). I LOVE the curtain rods with the blue glass balls on the ends:

Though blue is the main color. America is my theme. Love these little garden tools on the wall:

Love my flag pillows, teddybear and quilt on my bed:

These are just a few of my favorite veiws in my home. TFL!!! :-)

I LOVE to get mail! Don't we all?!! I especially LOVE to get packages filled with BEAUTIFUL scrapbook products like my November Scarlet Lime kit. OMG!! It is sooooo PRETTY! Ihope this will help me shake the bad feeling I continue to have. More later. Have a good night.

Inspirations

Yesterday I added two more people to the "Blogs I Stalk" list. One is the EXTREMELY talented Aleida Franklin and the other is the AMAZING Tim Holtz . Aleida is an online friend of mine, whom I hope to meet IRL someday. She is very inspiring and supportive.

I just discovered that Tim now has a blog (again!). YAY! I have gotten to meet and take classes with Tim a couple of times this year. My son even got to meet Tim this past Summer and he was so excited. LOVE to be inspired by incredible artists!!!

Donna Downey is another great artist that inspires me. Look Here I WON one of 5 giveaways by Making Memories on her Blog yesterday. Check it out!! I am so excited!! So, so, so AWESOME!! Just can't wait to play! I hope I will have it in time to take to the crop I am going to next week. And last, but not least, I scored a free pass to Scrap A Faire from Janna Wilson's blog yesterday. If you have not checked out Scrap-a-Faire, you should. It is AWESOME!!! Janna had 25 passes to give away. She may still have a few left.?? Check it out! Janna ROCKS!! WOW!!! It was a very good day yesterday!!!

Friday already....

WOW!!! Can you believe this week is already over? Time is just flying by.Today I got some bad news, actually sad news. One of my favorite sales reps at my work has resigned. See, I work in the Sales Administration department of a medical supply company and we have reps all over the country. There are many that I talk to frequently and have gotten to know quite well. I am a point person for them at the home office, which does make me feel good that they need me. But, truly they are my co-workers (though I only get to see them once in a while) and my friends. So it is sad when one moves on. Usually a company wide notification e-mail goes out, so that we are informed and can close up any loose ends with the person. This rep requested to not have that e-mail sent. He had really resigned 2 weeks ago. He wanted to call certain people personally just to thank them and tell them how much they have meant to him. One of those people was me. The only person in my department. :-) He said he felt like he was "breaking up" with us. You know the line "It's not you, it's me". Hahaha...I will miss him! We had many FUN conversations!

Well, I do not want to totally bum everybody out. I wanted to include one CUTE pic of my son on Halloween. He was a Red Sox player. He was a HUGE success! It even scored him extra candy! YUMMO!!!
